Dr. Waseem Imam
Dr. M. Waseem Imam was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and spent most of his childhood in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. He has a Bachelor of Psychology from Wayne State University and a Master of Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University. He earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University. Dr. Imam is Board Certified in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology for Pediatrics and Adults. He is also Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Imam was nominated as a Fellow with the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. His area of focus includes inhalant and food allergies, asthma, desensitization therapy to retrain the immune system, allergen immunotherapy, and sublingual immunotherapy. Dr. Imam is passionate about helping his patients live free of allergies. He founded Cure Allergy Clinic because he believed a personal touch was needed in healthcare and wanted to help patients reach customized solutions for their concerns.
Dr. Imam enjoys mixed martial arts, reading, and discussing the best restaurants in town. Dr. Imam's favorite movies are the Back to the Future trilogy. His favorite book is "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman.
