INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Step One:

Shake Super Spray well before each use. When starting a new bottle of Super Spray, prime it first by pumping firmly 2-3 times into the air until a full mist is released. Super Spray should only be used according to your allergist's instructions, which you can find in your Care Plan and on the prescription label on the bottle. Always take Super Spray in the "nose-to-toes" position and do “bunny sniffs” for 10 seconds after each spray!

How To Do Nose-to-Toes and Bunny Sniffs

• Stand or sit upright.

• Flex your neck comfortably forward, bringing your chin towards your chest with your nose pointing downward towards your toes (“nose-to-toes”)

• Insert the Super Spray nozzle straight into your nose, as far as comfortable.

• Press the opposite nostril closed with your finger.

• While staying in the “nose-to-toes” position, briskly press down on the pump to release the nasal spray into your nose and at the same time, sniff up the spray well.

• Continue to sniff up with rapid, short sniffs (“bunny sniffs”), for 10-15 seconds per nostril while holding the “nose-to-toes” position.

Trouble Shooting Guide

Nasal Irritation, Dryness or Bleeding:

Tip #1: Use Salinity Spray before Super Spray, as well as throughout the day to keep nasal passages hydrated. Moisturized nasal passages are happy ones. Using Salinity Spray before Super Spray will help keep your nose moist and prevent irritation and bleeding.

Tip #2: Use Salinity Spray 10-15 minutes after using Super Spray as well as throughout the day.

Tip #3: Apply an ointment such as Cerave ointment, AYR nasal gel or Vaseline directly to the nasal passages after using Salinity Spray and after a warm shower.  Apply a pea-size amount to a Q-tip and gently swab to the inside of your nose. You can do this before using Super Spray too.

Throat Irritation/Phlegm in Throat:

Tip #1: Rinsing the nasal passages out with Salinity Spray can help prevent throat irritation and phlegm.

-Use Salinity Spray before your Super Spray, as well as throughout the day to help loosen mucus in the nose.

-Blow your nose into a tissue gently after using Salinity Spray.  Make sure to be in the “nose-to-toes” position (ideally over a sink) when rinsing out your nasal passages.

Bitter Taste:

Tip #1: Be very diligent about taking your Super Spray in the “nose-to-toes” position. Stay in this position for 20-30 seconds after taking your Super Spray, gently sniffing up.

Tip #2: Brush your teeth and rinse with mouthwash after using Super Spray.

Tip #3: Avoid lying down for 10-15 minutes after taking Super Spray.

Drowsiness/fatigue:

This is a rare side effect. Avoid taking your Super Spray in the morning and instead take it once per day, at night. If you are still particularly sensitive and experiencing drowsiness, we can change your formulation.

Nausea/Stomach Upset:

This is a very rare side effect.

Tip #1: Take Super Spray only on a full stomach to relieve any nausea.

Tip #2: Be very diligent about taking your Super Spray in the “nose-to-toes” position. This will prevent nasal spray dripping down your throat and going down into your stomach.

Coughing:

Tip #1: Be very diligent about taking your Super Spray in the “nose-to-toes” position.

Tip #2: Your cough may be due to a reactive airway. If this is chronic (meaning you’ve had it for a long time before starting Super Spray) and your Allermi treatment isn't helping, we advise going to see an allergist or pulmonologist for an in-person visit to supplement your care.

Sneezing:

Taking a new nasal spray can sometimes cause sneeze, especially in an inflamed & sensitive nose.

Tip #1: If you sneeze immediately after taking Super Spray (within 30 seconds), use it again.

Tip #2: Use plenty of Salinity Spray to soothe the nose before using Super Spray.

Tip #3: Give it some times. The medications in Super Spray will help relieve the inflammation and irritation that is causing sneeze. It may take a couple days.

Vision Changes:

If you notice sudden changes in vision, we advise that you visit an eye doctor for an in-person examination to supplement your care, as some nasal spray ingredients can exacerbate pre-existing eye conditions.

Persistent Symptoms

If your symptoms are persisting, please send a message to your allergist at medicalteam@allermi.com. It may be that you need an adjustment to your formula.

Environmental control is very important when trying to address allergy symptoms.

-Keep your windows closed all the time to keep pollen and dust from entering your home.

-Shower at night before bed, especially if you spent time outdoors or with pets.

-Keep your shoes at the doorway.

-Use an allergen-proof dust mite cover for your pillow and mattress. Be sure it is tightly threaded.

-Use an air purifier in your home, especially in your bedroom during sleep.

-Avoid keeping furry friends in the bedroom with you while you sleep.

Remember, we are here to help!
