We are currently treating patients with a glaucoma diagnosis only if they have explicit ophthalmology clearance to use Allermi.
While the risk is low, nasal sprays can potentially elevate intraocular pressure in some individuals. Given the nature of telemedicine and our inability to access eye-exam records or perform physical examinations in-person, we err on the side of caution.
If you'd like to use Allermi, please your ophthalmologist regarding the specific ingredients in our formulas. If they provide approval, you will be able to proceed with your treatment. We would also recommend getting your eye pressures checked quarterly while using Allermi.
