Allermi should not cause any changes to your blood pressure, given how low the dosages are and their localized application directly in the nose. The ingredients in Allermi stay localized to the nasal passages with minimal systemic absorption—so little that they're undetectable in the bloodstream.
This is very different from oral decongestants like pseudoephedrine, which are absorbed into the bloodstream and can affect blood pressure. We have thousands of patients with high blood pressure or cardiac issues who use Allermi safely.
As with any new medication, we recommend monitoring your blood pressure initially, though we don't anticipate any changes.
