Allermi requires a prescription because it's a custom-compounded medication tailored to your specific symptoms, severity, and medical history. There are certain disqualifiers due to safety needs that might affect eligibility. Contraindications to Allermi include the following:
-Under the age of 13 (to see where Allermi is available to minors 13+, please click here)
-Pregnant or nursing
-Glaucoma, severe retinopathy or eye disease without ophthalmologist approval
-History of significant intranasal recreational drug use
-Traumatic brain injury or cerebral spinal fluid leak
-Sympathomimetic or steroid allergies
-Sinus surgery within the past 3 months
-Immunosuppressants in the past 6 months (to review a list of immunosuppressive medications, please click here)
If any of these items were to be selected in your intake questionnaire, you would be automatically disqualified and refunded. If you were disqualified but aren't sure why, please email medicalteam@allermi.com so we can assist.
